Fund Analyst/Editor
Areas of responsibility:
As Morningstar Fund Analyst you will conduct independent, in-depth research and write concise, objective reviews of mutual funds, and also write editorial articles, primarily on web. It will be important to establish, develop and maintain contact with the financial industry and media in Finland. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about investing and helping investors make better investment decisions. We expect analysts to develop clear opinions on funds based on research that goes beyond mere performance and risk evaluation. To research funds thoroughly, analysts interview portfolio managers, conduct qualitative analyses using our databases, and monitor regulatory information.
Furthermore you will also have the opportunity to influence our website priorities and develop new ideas to help investors reach their financial goal. In addition to handle press and subscriber call the analyst will also present at Morningstar speaking engagements relevant for the Finnish market. Quality assurance of analyses, including facts and figures, is also vital for this position.
Experience and requirements:

Your education and background should be within economy/finance

Good knowledge of the Finnish financial market is important

Economic & financial insight, and a general interest of finance, funds and investments

Very good communication skills, both oral and written, in English and Finnish

Independent and trustworthy

Through analyses be able to make statements and decisions regarding trends in the Finnish financial market

You are a calm person that are able to make decisions and to prioritize in hectic periods
